Abstract

Abstract: Carrier phase-shifted PWM is specially for cascaded inverter. It has high equivalent carrier frequency and low harmonic. The output between power units is balanced,and it is easy for expansion. SVPWM has low harmonic, high voltage utilization, and it is easy for digital realization. Based on the configuration of H-bridge cascaded multilevel inverter, this paper combines SVPWM and carrier phase-shifted SPWM. A simple algorithm of SVPWM is introduced. It hasn’t any trigonometric function and irrational number calculations, which simplifies the calculation process and makes the calculation results more accurate. Simulation verification is presented to confirm the capability of the novel algorithm. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
