Abstract

The article offers information on the possibility of great walleye fishing in Northwestern Ontario's Sunset County Region. It mentions the Rainy River in Sunset County in which hundreds of walleye pile into the river from Lake of the Woods to spawn when the ice melts. It notes that the river's depth is 8-12 feet during the spring season and has sandy banks and bottom in which rock outcroppings can help anglers to hold their toes.
