Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of a milking skills workshop held at Telford, New Zealand on March 5, 2013. Most of the 130 farmers who attended the workshop found they have been putting cups on cows the wrong way. Consultant Aidan Bichan reveals that carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, broken arms and rotator cuff shoulder injuries are common among people who work on dairy farms. The workshop is part of the DairyNZ MilkSmart III initiative.
