Abstract
- The article discusses the role of legal advocacy as a catalyst for change in relation to the housing policies in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as of March 2013, focusing on the work of the Regional Housing Legal Services and Community Legal Services groups in Pennsylvania on behalf of domestic violence victims in landlord-tenant matters. The U.S. Violence Against Women Act of 2005 and city ordinances are addressed, along with federally-subsidized housing in America.
