Information literacy and new technologies: academic libraries deal with these two relevant issues on a daily basis. This article presents and discusses the outcome of our efforts to combine them, or rather to support and deliver bibliographic instructions through technologies that help improve communication between students and tutors, such as e-learning. After years of traditional training, we implemented in our courses a new web-based environment, with the aid of Moodle - an e-learning software platform.
