Abstract
- The article features the branch of the Botanical Society of South Africa (BotSoc) in the Free State, South Africa. The Free State branch was founded in 1969 after the official opening of the Free State National Botanical Garden on February 22, 1969. It describes the contributions of the Free State branch's members to the promotion of knowledge and interest in area's indigenous floral heritage as well as to the development of the Free State National Botanical Garden.
