Abstract

The article describes the case of a four-year-old Golden Retriever male dog which underwent a successful necrotic penile amputation following post-coital paraphimosis in Bangalore, India. The dog was presented to the Veterinary College Hospital in Hebbal with a complaint of long standing paraphimosis. History also showed that the dog was unilaterally cryptorchid and was operated for removal of single testis present in the scrotum and the other intra-abdominal testis was neglected.
