Multivariate assessment of selected performance indicators in relation to the type and result of a typical set in Men's Elite Volleyball.

The article presents research that determines volleyball performance indicators discriminating the losing and winning teams based on the set differences of final score during the Men's European Volleyball Championship in Turkey in 2009. The study finds attack effectiveness as the most significant performance indicator for all set types. It suggests to put more emphasis on men's volleyball team training for the improvement of offensive abilities.
