Abstract
- The author shares his views about discusses the advantages and disadvantages of gay marriage. It is said that marriage for diverse-gender couples result to better health, more happiness, longer lives, less depression and less risky behavior. According to the author, the belief that legal marriage will reduce the HIV rates in gay men is not true for everyone. The author cites a study which found that marriage tends to have traditionalizing effect among same-sex couples.
