Abstract
- In this article, the author discusses the loss of bumblebees in Wilsonville, Oregon attributed to use of the neonicotinoid pesticide dinotefuran as of June 15, 2013. He mentions that the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation was called to investigate the kill. He also mentions that linden trees were covered with large nets to prevent bumblebee and other pollinators from reaching the flowers to mitigate further damage to foraging bees.
