This article provides information on the various diseases that affect the mind. People with a mental illness may see or hear things that are not really there which is called hallucination; Paranoia occurs when people think that others are trying to hurt them all the time, and they may turn against those who love them and are really tying to help them; Mild forms of mental illness are sometimes called neuroses.
