EMBER PRODUCTION DURING THE BASTROP COMPLEX FIRE.

The article presents a study on ember production during the Bastrop Complex fire. According to the author, as the human population expands and builds into previously uninhabited and densely vegetated areas, there has been increased risk and realization of potential disastrous fire in the wildlife-urban setting. The study concludes that further measurement of firebrands in various vegetation types could lead to a more complete understanding of ember production.
