Abstract

The article focuses over the ruling on filing of civil lawsuit in the U.S. It informs that California's Unfair Competition Law (UCL) has given its citizen he power to supplement law enforcement efforts by privately pursuing an injunction against unlawful or unfair business activity. It mentions about the case Pom Wonderful LLC v. Coca-Cola Co., wherein California appellate courts summarized that the company did not meet this standard.
