Abstract

The article describes electromagnetism. Magnetism is the ability of an object to attract another object. Magnets have a north and south pole, and a magnetic field. The south pole of one magnet will attract the north pole of another magnet. If you touch an iron magnet to a nail made of nickel, the magnet's electric field moves around the nail and the nail becomes a magnet.
