Abstract

Cervical and lumbar injuries are common among athletes. In most instances, these injuries are benign and respond well to non-operative management. Treatment modalities may include therapy, NSAIDs, and rest. For injuries unresponsive to simpler forms of non-operative treatment, injection therapy and other interventions may be considered to return the athlete back to sports. The following manuscript will discuss various options for the athlete. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
