Cell Surface Molecules Involved in Infection Mediated by Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis Virus Glycoprotein.

The article deals with a study about the glycoprotein (GP) of lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV). Topics discussed include LCMV infection in animals, the tropism of LCMV-GP-pseudotypes, and whether infection of LCMV-GP-pseudotypes was affected by the expression of four cell surface molecules namely Axl and Tyro3 and DC-SIGN and LSECtin, that are known receptors of Lassa virus.
