Abstract: The article offers information on a research related to the effect of resistance training on the aging rat's gastrocnemius of apoptosis regulatory gene Bcl-2 and mitochondrial membrane potential. Topics of discussion included were male Sprague Dawley rats as the research object, determination of ratio of apoptosis regulatory genes and mitochondrial membrane potential and regulation of occurrence of gastrocnemius apoptosis.
