- Highlights: [•] Student–teacher relationships (STR) were examined for children with ASD. [•] Comparison groups included intellectual disability (ID), typical development (TD). [•] Poorer STRs, overall, were reported by teachers of children with ASD. [•] Child externalizing behavior was predictive of teacher conflict.
