Abstract

A different proportion of Co, Bi doping NiCuZn ferrite was synthesised by the sol–gel self-propagating high temperature synthesis method. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the sample grain density increases with the increase in doping amount of Bi ion. The hysteresis loop at T = 300 K of the samples showed that this ferrite is typical ferrimagnetic, coercive force H<subscript>c</subscript> increases with the increase in doped ion and the saturation magnetisation increases firstly and then decreases with the increase in doped ion. Through Mössbauer spectrum analysis, the absorption area of A site is relatively reduced and the absorption area of B site is relatively increased with the compound doped increase.
