Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 6-year-old H.F. cross cow presented with a history of acue onset of severe bloat, respiratory distress and inability to swallow. The animal was maintained on intravenous fluids for five days then with soft gruel for three days followed by regular feeding schedule. The cow underwent a successful surgical management of an unusual cervical esophageal obstruction due to regurgitated ruminai foreign body.
