Abstract
- The article discusses the author's opinions on how long law school exam answers, court briefs, and other legal compositions should be as of May 2014, focusing on various legal scholarship standards in terms of law-review articles and footnotes. The attitudes of American law professors are mentioned, along with the concept that good ideas do not have to be explained by long answers and multiple pages of text. Readability and the value of short papers are also examined.
