Abstract

The paper aims at the evaluation of the impact of firm's size on the innovative performance especially during the period of recent global economic crisis, basing on the results of the analysis conducted for Polish industrial enterprises. The results of the analysis indicate that larger enterprises achieved better results of innovative activity. The analysis showed that the uncertainty caused by the global economic crisis affected adversely the innovative performance of each size class of enterprises. However, larger enterprises proved relatively more resistant to economic turbulences. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
