Valoración médico-laboral del trabajador con Síndrome de Sjögren.

The article presents an overview of Sjögren Syndrome, a chronic inflammatory disease with symptoms of a lymphocytic infiltration of the exocrine glands, ocular and oral dryness and extraglandular manifestations which can be associated with other autoimmune diseases and may be caused by workplace discomfort. A discussion of research which was conducted to develop a tool to carry out health surveillance and to define the criteria for conducting a workplace medical evaluation is presented.
