Abstract
- The article discusses the changes to the Clean Air Act of 1977 passed by the U.S Congress in 1990. Topics discussed include inclusion of a bold policy experiment in the amendment designed to slash sulfur-dioxide pollution, announcement made by Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy based on the first federal plan to restraint carbon dioxide pollution from power plant and U.S. Supreme Court' ruling based on regulation of greenhouse gases.
