Abstract
- The article discusses participation of the Northland farm owned by dairy farmers Alister Candy and Lyn Candy in the focus farm project of New Zealand dairy industry organisation DairyNZ. Topics explored include the milksolids budget and milk production recorded by the farm for the 2013-2014 season, the significant reduction in its expenses and growth in milk income, and the commitment of the farmers to environmental conservation that has been evident in their farming practices.
