Doctors' knowledge of the law on withholding and withdrawing life-sustaining medical treatment.

The article presents a study which aims to examine the knowledge level of doctors on withholding and withdrawing the life-sustaining medical treatment. The study uses a postal survey on all specialists in the field of emergency medicine, geriatric medicine, and medical oncology. Result shows that there is a significant knowledge gap on the law governing the withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment on adult patients with poor decision making capacity.
