Abstract

This article discusses the publication of the Spanish Inquisition against the works of author Francisco de Quevedo, entitled "Tribunal de la Justa Venganza" ("Tribunal of Just Revenge"). The author comments on the promotion of gender theories and sociology in the literature of Quevedo, with a particular focus on works published between 1626 and 1633, including "Perinola," "Discurso de todos los diablos," and "Buscón." He also considers the anti-Inquisition sentiments that were established in the works of Quevedo.
