Abstract
- In the "wandering life" of Dino Campana, the poet most-known for his Canti Orfici (1914), his habit of frequenting public libraries in various cities hasn't been noticed or studied until today. The paper reconstructs for the first time his attendance at the Public Library of Geneva in 1915, for 19 days between April 7 and May 19, and the various books he read. The paper stresses the importance of libraries' archival records, and of their catalogues, for cultural history and for a deeper understanding of the importance that the service offered by public libraries had overtime, from a qualitative and not only quantitative viewpoint [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
