Abstract

Under hydrothermal conditions, the reaction of vanillic acid with trimethyltin chloride gives rise to a novel 2D rhombohedral grid, {([Me<INF>2</INF>Sn(VA)<INF>0.5</INF>]<INF>2</INF>O)<INF>2</INF>·2H<INF>2</INF>O}<INF>n</INF><INF></INF> (<BO>1</BO>), with a tetraorganodistannoxane as corner unit.
