Abstract
- Wavelength dependence was measured for a one-directional output optical frequency conversion device that has an asymmetric-coupling-coefficient (k) distributed-Bragg-reflector (DBR) structure. The output power of converted light from the light input end is 30 dB smaller than that from the output end. The injected light wavelength and polarisation dependence of converted light power has also been investigated. The converted light wavelength scanning range is confirmed to be the design value of 4 nm, which is the widest ever reported.
