Abstract: Summary: This report presents 37 cases of acute leukemias, showing that the skin-window cellular response was markedly reduced. Immature leukemic cells were not found in the exudates. Acellular response and “delayed” cellular response should be of a prognostic significance. Chemotherapeutic agents and adrenocorticosteroid do rot per se depress the cellular response and phagocytic ability in induced inflammatory exudates.
