Use of central composite experimental design for the development ofBradyrhizobium japonicumliquid inoculants

Central composite experimental designs realized with flask cultures and completed by fermentor studies were used to developB. japonicumliquid inoculants. Two different media are described, using glycerol or glucose, in the presence of only 1 g/l yeast extract. They allow the production of cultures containing more than 1010viable cell/ml, able to nodulate soybean efficiently.
