Abstract

Implications of the recent discovery of the resonanceD′(1526)IJ<superscript>PC</superscript>=01<superscript>++</superscript> are discussed. We consider possibilities of a mistakenJ<superscript>PC</superscript> assignment forE(1420) orD′(1526). It is also pointed out that the theoretical prediction excluding low lying 1<superscript>++</superscript> glueball is based on the assumption of the valence gluon which is not necessarily true. A possibility of theE(1420) meson being 1<superscript>++</superscript> gluonium quarkonium mixture is investigated.
