Abstract
- The new species, Cresponea sorediataElix, Øvstedal & Gremmen, based on material from Gough Island, is described. It is characterized by a sorediate thallus, but no apothecia has been found. The diagnostic substances of the new species are usnic acid, isousnic acid and consimonyellin.
