PERIOPERATIVE CONTINUOUS MONITORING OF ST-SEGMENT CHANGES IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING ELECTIVE CAESAREAN SECTION

<sec> Using continuous ambulatory electrocardiography, we have investigated the incidence of ST-segment changes occurring in patients undergoing elective Caesarean section under extradural, spinal or general anaesthesia. There was no evidence of significant perioperative ST-segment changes. The findings contrast with the results of other work published recently. </sec>
