Abstract

Sonicated vesicles of phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylserine/phosphatidylcholine mixtures were recombined with spectrin-actin from human erythrocyte ghosts. Morphological properties and physicochemical characteristics of the recombinates were studied with freeze etch electron microscopy, 31P NMR and differential scanning calorimetry.
