Abstract
- The new triple salt (PhCH2NMe3)4[Ag17(C2)2(CF3CO2)16(NO3)(H2O)4] (<compoundref>1</compoundref>) features an asymmetric silver(i) double cage constructed from the edge-sharing of a triangulated dodecahedron and a monocapped square antiprism, and an anionic columnar structure is generated with an unprecedented μ5-ligation mode of the nitrate ion.
