Abstract
- •Aggression results from three processes: instigation, impellance, and inhibition.•Instigation and impellance increase the likelihood and intensity of aggression.•Inhibition decreases the likelihood and intensity of aggression.•The three processes interact, generating a ‘perfect storm’ to produce aggression.
