Abstract

Premenopausal breast cancer risk has been associated with greater height and inversely associated with excess adiposity in many studies conducted among Western populations. However, data are scarce on Hispanic populations, in particular in Latin American countries. Our work investigated the associations between excess adiposity, defined by several anthropometric factors, and risk of breast cancer among premenopausal Latin American women from the PRECAMA study.
