Abstract

•We evaluated the relations of CYP3A phenoconversion with plasma levels of indoxyl sulfate and cytokines.•Higher plasma indoxyl sulfate levels were associated with CYP3A phenoconversion.•Dose adjustment may be needed in patients with CYP3A5*1and high indoxyl sulfate level.
