Abstract

A case of cirrhosis following the administration of methotrexate for psoriasis is presented. The typical picture of minimal derangement of liver function tests with longā€term continuous therapy is demonstrated. Psoriatic patients appear to be at risk when treated for long periods with folate antagonists. Liver function tests are a poor guide to the hepatic toxicity which may result.
