Abstract

Sabia campanulataWall. subsp. ritchieae(Rehder & E.H. Wilson) Y.F. Wu, an endemic species from China is recorded for the first time to the flora of India from Sainj Wildlife Sanctuary of Himachal Pradesh, India. Detail description, illustration, habitat, flowering and fruiting period along with field photographs are provided for easy identification. A note has also been provided on the population status of the taxon in India.
