Abstract
- •The proposed system creatively incorporates a polymer hollow fiber dehumidifier.•Air- to- solution specific humidity ratio, solution concentration are the most sensitive factors.•The numerical model is validated against experimental, analytical data and published literature.•The energy saving potential and dehumidification effectiveness have been reported.•A user-friendly table has been included as a design friendly tool without iterative modelling involved.
