Abstract

•Logistic regression models were applied to evaluate the association between potential demographic, clinical and self-reported predictors and the clinically significant anxiety at one-year follow up.•Educational level, relapsing-remitting form, anxiety, depression and fatigue at baseline were significant predictors for clinically significant anxiety.•Disability level, disease duration and cognitive functioning did not correlate with clinically significant anxiety.
