Abstract

Unplanned readmission is a common and costly problem. A large percentage of premature infants need readmission during the first year of life, which indicates insufficiency in providing the necessary care. Thus, providing supportive care, such as telenursing, seems to be essential. Therefore, this study has been conducted to determine the effect of telenursing on the rate of readmissions in premature infants.
