- •Synergistic combination of EDLC mechanisms and pseudocapacitance.•Realizing surface-dominant (up to 86.9%) pseudocapacitive energy storage.•Porous aligned architecture via bidirectional freezing to enhance ion transport.•Conductive Ti3C2Txconnected MoS2nanosheets to improve electron transfer.•Achieving high specific energy (45.3 Wh kg−1) and power (76.4 kW kg−1).
