Abstract

•The optimal active ATG exposure in adult haploidentical peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (haplo-PBSCT) is unclear.•This study shows total AUC of active ATG is the best predictor for virus reactivation and aGVHD.•Higher total AUC is associated with higher risk of virus reactivation and lower risk of aGVHD.•The optimal total AUC range with the minimum virus reactivation and comparable II–IV aGVHD was 110–148.5 UE/mL/day.
