Abstract

Bioadhesives In article 2200939, Malcolm Xing, Shiming Yang, and co‐workers report a robust hemostatic bioadhesive gel from okra. Okra gel is biocompatible and biodegradable. It promotes wound healing. The gel can activate platelets and release the coagulation factors XI and XII, which leads to a strong hemostatic efficiency. The okra gel shows efficay in treating the bleeding trauma model of the liver and the heart of rabbits and beagle dogs.
