Abstract

•Photothermal distillation membrane with good performance was fabricated by treating Cu(OH)2Nanoarray with Na2S solution, whose photothermal conversion efficiency reached up to 81 %.•Superhydrophilic glass and superhydrophobic aluminum was obtained by simple modification.•A highly efficient solar distiller with 66% water collection efficiency was configured by the photothermal conversion membrane, superhydrophilic glass and superhydrophobic aluminum.
