Abstract

•We propose a novel biomarker that could identify patients with high risk of early progression after chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy.•∆cfDNA (pre-apheresis, [PA] and pre-lymphodepletion [PL]) allows monitoring of tumor dynamics.•∆cfDNA, C-reactive protein, and lactate dehydrogenase levels PL, progression status PL, and male sex were highly correlated with rapid progression after CAR T cell therapy.
